Took Drug Test Thursday When Should I Know Results?

After undergoing a drug test last Thursday, I find myself in a quandary regarding the anticipated timeline for receiving the results. Is there an established norm for how long these assessments typically take? Given that various factors—such as the specific type of test conducted, the laboratory’s workload, and the protocols followed by the testing agency—can influence this timeline, I’m curious to know how long others have had to wait in similar situations. Also, is there a possibility that certain tests are expedited, while others languish in the processing queue? The suspense can be quite unnerving. Should I perhaps contact the testing facility for an update? Or would that be perceived as overly anxious? As I ponder these questions, I can’t help but wonder if there are stories of individuals who have faced even longer waits. What insights or experiences can be shared regarding this perplexing waiting period for drug test results?
